We went to the monument on the anniversary of 9/11. There were probably 50 or more folks walking around the monument
while we were there. It was the quietest 50 people I ever heard.
The empty chair display was more moving than I thought it would be. A strong visual reminder of the innocents who died
in that senseless act--and by extension, the innocents who die in all acts of terrorism (foreign or domestic).
