Valentine Gryder participated in the American Revolution; information on Valentine and family from Ray G Gryder II--received 28 SEPT 1999 (According to Barbara Grider, Ray G received this info from her.).
Rockhouse Bottom is in present day Russell County, KY. The Cumberland River makes a great loop around this fertile bottom land, and there is an enormous natural bridge there which the locals call the Rockhouse--received from Barbara Grider, 17 FEB 2000.
