Martin Alexander Fincannon served in the 11th GA Cavalry during the Civil War. He moved his family from Raburn County, GA to Cave Springs, AR, in 1872. He may have died in 1937; he lived with daughter Nina Hall in later years.

5. Nervia Safronia TEEM died in Oklahoma City, OK and was buried in Oklahoma City, OK.

Last name may have been TEEMS or WEEM/WEEMS; she lived to be 92.

James Parker Gryder served in the 4th AR Infantry during the Civil War.

Isaac Newton Gryder and his son James Parker Gryder and their families moved from Washington, AR to Cave Springs, AR in 1879 to get away from freed slaves. In 1891, after the death of James Parker Gryder, his wife and family moved with the Fincannons from the Cave Springs, AR, area, according to Paul Fincannon. The families eventually settled in De Leon, Erath County, TX, whose typology is very similar to that of Cave Springs, AR.

7. Mary Elizabeth MC CLAIN was born in July 1850 in AR. She died 11 Nov 1943 in Erath County, TX and was buried in Round Grove, TX.

According to Cecil Bostick (g-grandson of Mary), in the mid 1930s, when he was 7 or 8, he visited his grandmother, Julia Rosa (Mary's daughter), in Rucker (W of De Leon); his grandmother said that Mary Gryder spent about 4 months of each year with each of her three daughters.
