The mansion is a gem (Wish I could show you pics of the interior.). Our guide through the house was excellent (the best LIVE person we heard on any of the tours we did, and rivaled the professionally made audio tour of Biltmore). The estate was known for siring world-class race horses in the 1880s and early 1890s.
